GO TEX SHOW 2014 is establishing itself as a global marketplace

The show includes the participation of countries such as Italy, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and China.

The second edition of “GO TEX SHOW – International Trade Fair for Textile Products”, which takes place between 27 and 29 October 2014, in the Yellow Pavilion of Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, gains new space and membership of different countries, what makes the walk event, each edition, to consolidate itself as an international trade fair. Among the nearly 250 exhibitors already confirmed are coming players from Bangladesh, China, India, Italy and Pakistan.

For the Organizing Committee of the event, – composed of the CCCT – China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Textile and Apparel, CCPIT TEX – The Sub-council of Textile Industry, China Council for The Promotion of International Trade, China Group Trade Center and EMF – trade shows, conferences and Developments – the show is on the way to act as a Textile Global Sourcing, bringing to Brazil exhibitors from the entire textile production chain from various corners of the planet. To attract Brazilian exhibitors who have not yet confirmed their participation at the show, the organizers are offering 50% discount for the spaces.

“We are working tirelessly for national companies realize the importance of participating in a global marketplace bringing together exhibitors from different countries. We have some reserves of Brazilian companies and we are looking forward to the closing of these spaces so that Brazilian businessmen can exhibit their products, establishing the exchange of experience between companies coming from different countries, as the main international fairs of the sector, “said Pan Faming , director of the China Trade Center Group and CEO of the Organizing Committee of “GO TEX SHOW – International Trade Fair for Textiles”.

In 2013, the “GO TEX SHOW” received 5000 visitors and with the participation of 340 exhibitors, the fiber segments, wires, trims, fabrics and finished products (fashion and homewear), among others, manufacturers of China, Italy and Taiwan. This year, prosecutors have changed the fair venue of expanding the exhibition space by 36% compared to last year, with an expected 400 exhibitors and over 6000 visitors from various countries.

The partner organizations of the event so far are: Abravest – Brazilian Association of Clothing; Alobras – Tenants Association of Brás; Sinvest / GO – Union of the Clothing Industries of the State of Goiás; Sinroupas – Union of Clothing Clothing Industries in General Goiania; and Sindivest / MS. – Union of the Clothing Industry, Weaving and Spinning of Mato Grosso do Sul Other partnerships are being agreed

Parallel programming

In order to further enhance the programming of “GO TEX SHOW 2014″ Organizing Committee of the exhibition is preparing a series of side events to make the fair even more attractive to visitors. On 27 October, takes place the final of the competition “NEW DESIGNERS BRAZIL” involving fashion students from São Paulo. Participants will present a collection of four complete looks designed from four Chinese companies tissues. The 10 finalists, chosen by an expert jury, will fabricate the pieces and perform in the grand final will be known when the winner.

The Competition “NEW DESIGNERS BRAZIL” theme will be “Chinese New Year to the Brazilian – 2015, the year of the Goat” and will promote the development of differentiated products with Chinese raw materials and Brazilian design , encouraging Brazil to invest in design and designers, an essential condition to act as a major player on the international stage. The action will facilitate the exchange between young designers with producers of Chinese fabrics, promoting a creative synergy between the two countries.

At the same time, the Competition “YOUNG DESIGNERS BRAZIL” will establish a relationship between the “GO TEX SHOW” and major educational institutions with fashion courses in Brazil, representing the new generation of Brazilian textile sector, showing the barn young talent existing in São Paulo and strengthening the partnership (Chinese raw material and Brazilian designers) in an environment of innovation and creativity.

On the second day of the show happens a schedule of lectures aimed at providing support for small and medium Brazilian entrepreneurs who have interest to act in foreign trade.

For the third day of the event, the Organizing Committee is preparing a business roundtable that will expedite negotiations between exhibitors and buyers.
